Illuzion Cinema

The famous cinema opened its doors in 1966 on Kotelnicheskaya nabererzhnaya in Moscow and instantly became one of the culture hotspots of the city. In 2018, the cinema was renovated and got a new brand identity. The new logo is based on the famous neon sign on the façade, with three neon tubes per stroke. We kept the three tubes and the original proportions. The letter «И» here works as a standalone sign.

The cinema hosts a variety of events, including festivals, retrospective and specialty shows. For each kind of event, we have designed a poster template with tags and color coding. For instance, retrospectives are announced in monochrome, while posters modern movies are printed in full color. Trifolds are made to be as eye-catching and practical as possible. There is a special color — a fluorescent Pantone — for each month of the year. With a full size of A3, one side of the sheet is devoted to retrospectives and the other — to modern films.
