Project Overview: Advertising fashion photography for WKT, an ethical knitwear brand. The chilly northern California beaches embody the spirit of the WKT brand. WKT creates high-end fashionable knitwear made from sustainably sourced wools. This session was shot at Muir Beach just north of San Francisco. Since this production was relatively straight forward, I was able to execute the shoot without a big team. I sourced the model, directed the styling, and handled the art direction. August is the perfect month in the San Francisco bay area to capture moody fog filled landscapes. The most important part of this session was finding a model who would capture the wild and raw elegance of the WTK aesthetic. Luckily for me, one of my favorite models (and longtime friend) was going to be visiting the states from Spain. So I jumped on the opportunity to cast her for this project.
