Smart Band Concept 2021
An unobtrusive wrist-worn wearable, designed for a seamless integration of Health, Wellbeing, and Communication.
The design is aimed at creating an interface that wraps around the wrists effortlessly and comfortably. The industrial design of the concept is built around this idea. Wearable technology is, by definition, technology worn on the body of a user. This concept is designed with soft-touch materials and rounded surfaces to be more pleasant to hold and comfortable to wear.
Pages in the interface have data stacked vertically in a linear layout and can be scrolled by swiping up or down. Each page runs in a loop with the end of a page followed by the beginning of the same page. The more elements that are on the page, the longer the loop. Sideswipes are used to navigate to adjacent pages.
