I am honored to have worked on this one-of-a-kind playground! This multi-faceted playscape- located in the Windy City- is a textbook representation of how well Playcore's companies coordinate themed experiences on a large scale. It features a Misting Rock Fan, in-ground bouncers, a labyrinth of interconnecting Rope Bridges, and is adjacent to a modern Splashpad and site amenities.
During this project, I was responsible for:
- Rope Bridge and overhead support prototyping
- Communicating exact proportions of the Toucan to the Designer (for roof placement)
- Creating renderings of Toucan model for the Rep & Customer
- Designing a Slide Barrier for the 14' slide, to keep children from climbing the outside
- Drafting all recycled lumber slats pictured
- Drafting, Specifying, and ordering outsourced features
