COLLECTIVE HOUSING UNITS

Summer of 2020, I was invited by one of my fellow architect friends to work on a collective housing project. The plot is situated in a rather expensive residential area near my hometown, and the developer wanted to get as much of a constructed area as he could. We chose to play mostly on the facades, fragmenting them with alternating rythms. As is the case with most of this type of projects we had to choose inexpensive materials and rely mostly on details for a more sophisticated look. The blocks will have a future 3-rd partial story added, so we chose to lay a more conservative base for it in this phase. As the work is in progress, I`ll keep you posted with the second phase soon.
