PVH Culture of Care

Client: PVH Europe
Brief:
HR Department of PVH Europe approached me to create a logo for their new internal initiative for employees – Culture of Care (CoC). There are 4 pillars to focus on: mental, social, financial and physical.

The purpose of CoC is to cultivate an environment where:
- we can bring our whole self to work
- we take care of each other so each one of us can be at our best
- we feel safe to speak up
- we have unashamed conversations around all aspects of health

Work:
Based on that extensive description I highlighted the main descriptive important for visually identifying such initiative:
--Support
--Empathy
--Motivation
--Encouragement
--Individuality

These highlights align as well with the values that PVH stands for as a brand both internally and externally.

---
First, I analysed the concept and story behind the initiative, trying to distract what this “environment” or “culture” means for PVH as a company and what it would mean for its employees. After distracting that information, I highlighted the main aspects of the idea behind the initiative and summarized them into main directions. And collected some inspiration on the go to see how visually metaphor and play with the descriptives in these main directions.

The client went for the direction 2 symbolizes the notion of care visually represented as a house in hands meaning creating the safe environment just as keeping it in your own hands.
After some twisting, we have concluded to highlight the directions of the initiative: Mental, Social, Financial and Physical.
