In 2019, I shifted my focus to poster design. In that spirit, I created the First Impression Collection, a series of minimalist posters meant to familiarize myself with the medium. While I would consider the end products themselves hit-and-miss, I learned lessons that I have since used to improve my work.
I finished four series (Marvel Cinematic Universe, NFL, Horror, NBA), but I abandoned the project before I finished the Star Wars set. This series, as oppose to the others, had a landscape orientation and was intended to highlight location. Although I did not complete the series, I managed to complete five pieces, three of which I will now share.
