This project is by far one of the most complex I've done in 3D. It was done in 2011 for the French government.
The goal was to build an interactive plateform to showing how the emergency units would act to rescue the victims of a terrorist attempt made with a nuclear/radiologic/biologic/chemic explosive engine.
This kind of attempt need specific process about decontamination for the valid and invalid victims.
I've attached a few videos over there.
This project was made by myself. I took the help from models of Internet (sources indicated in caption), I took initiative on the full look and feel from all the videos.
Here are some pictures of the work I've made to showcase the evolution of the work and different pieces of things I've made.
I went for a mix of simplistic look with low poly models but also sequences with higher detailing, according to the focus or importance of the action. The idea was to have something with a good look but with the ability to have fast rendering.
I've also made a lot of research to find references pictures. The action took place on the Saint Fargeau district in Paris. Living and working there at the times, I was able also to travel there to take reference picutres.
