TATO'S PORTRAIT

Tato is not a name, is just a nikname. I decided different names for different situations: at least one for family use daily (Tato); one, more dignified, for hunting moments (The Nero), and one that I "never will guess", one that better then me the poet T.S. Eliot espressed with these verses:

"And that is the name that you never will guess

The name that no human research can discover –
But THE CAT HIMSELF KNOWS, and will never confess.
When you notice a cat in profound meditation,
His mind is engaged in a rapt contemplation
Of the thought, of the thought, of the thought of his name:
His ineffable effable
Effanineffable
Deep and inscrutable singular Name

RITRATTO DI TATO

Tato non è un nome, è solo un nomignolo . Ho deciso nomi diversi per situazioni diverse: almeno uno per uso familiare quotidiano (Tato); uno, più dignitoso, per i momenti di caccia (Il Nero), e uno che "non indovinerò mai", uno che meglio di me il poeta T.S. Eliot espresse con questi versi:

"E questo è il nome che non potete nemmeno indovinare

né la ricerca umana è in grado di scovare -

Ma IL GATTO LO CONOSCE, anche se mai lo confessa.

Quando vedete un gatto in profonda meditazione

la ragione , credetemi, è sempre la stessa:

ha la mente perduta in rapimento e contemplazione

del pensiero, del pensiero, del pensiero del suo nome:

del suo ineffabile effabile

effineffable

profondo inscrutabile ed unico NOME
