About the company and its products

Art of Tea are the suppliers of Chinese tea, who work according to "sell the tea that we drink ourselves" principle. The company is headed by two brothers, who personally visit China and take samples of tea. They have a store where tea is sold loose. They decided to go further and develop sales channels.
Our agency helped Art of Tea to produce tea for sale at marketplaces such as Ozon and Wildberries. Our client's hypothesis was that they can sell a certain amount of tea at the marketplaces during the test period and find out which varieties of their assortment are the most popular ones. The tea packaging had to be inexpensive and fast in production. We chose the craft zip-locked bag with a special sticker with the name and pattern of the stylized tea leaf logo. It is easy and cheap to make such a package in small circulation in any printing house.









The new design of the package - doypack

After testing sales, the next logical step was to print and pack more, as large batches are more profitable in production. We started to develop the appearance of the doypacks for large runs. Additionally, we knew that Art of Tea wanted to launch a new tea packaging — tea pyramids. So we decided to prepare the buyer for the new format by decorating both doypacks and new packaging in the same style.
We took classical Chinese ornaments, bright colors (each tea variety has its own) and a pattern of leaves from the first package as a basis for the updated design. This way of developing packaging can be called evolutionary.
