/The Diamond Dakota Mystery/

The story revolves around a Dakota world war II aircraft which is also known as Douglas DC-3.
A plane was shot down near Broome, North Western Australia in March 1942. The plane carried 8 passengers and 4 crews and diamonds worth an estimated $150,000-$300,000. They were escaping the invasion from the Japanese (Invasion of Java). The client’s grandfather was a radio operator and one of the crew on the plane. The captain was Ivan Smirnoff, an ace russian fighter pilot. The diamonds were never fully recovered.

Regardless of the ending itself, the story about the missing diamond inspires the wine label's name and became the main inspiration for their special edition wine packaging.

This concept is inspired by the mission assigned to Captain Smirnoff which is about the diamond transfer and to transport people from Java to Australia. The trust that people who assigned the mission had to the crew connects to how Peccavi make their wines, in which they promised to produce only the best quality
of wines.

The type of textile used for the sleeve is called a butcher linen.
