Kalikaar-Branding
Kalikaar is a floral design company based in Delhi.
Catering to the upper-middle and upper class of Delhi, they specialise in floral decor for a broad spectrum of events ranging from life events like weddings, anniversaries to business parties to mall decor.
They work towards ensuring a subtle balance between the art and business of flowers.
 
Brief: Design the brand identity for Kalikaar, keeping in mind the visual nature of the business and the client profile.

Methodology:
Initial research was done on the art and business of flowers. The research was groomed and grouped into three stories (moodboards). The logo concepts followed the moodboard stories and the corporate identity, packaging and website design followed the logo design.
 
Concept:
The logo was designed along the lines of the desired brand image-delicate,fresh and classy.
The gold embossing makes the logo look rich, while the floral background gives a sneak peek into the client's latest collection/ theme.

 
Logo Explorations
The letterform K would be made out of flowers and photographed against different backgrounds. Different themes and variations of the letter K would be made.
The logos were designed along the lines of the desired brand image- delicate,fresh and classy.
The Chosen logo typeface was redrawn. Logo size variations were explored. The logo was placed against a solid colour background as well as a flower background.
Final logo in gold.
Office Stationery
The corporate identity is designed to go with the classy, luxurious image of the brand.
The final prints would have gold embossed logo.
The backside of the visting card, letterhead and envelope gives a sneak peek of the different themes and collections of Kalikaar, and could be changed seasonally.
