Typomorphosis
Experimental project for Introduction to Communication Design class, on which we were asked to choose three different pages – one from a book, one from a magazine and another from a newspaper – and from there build a narrative exploring typography as a visual composition, as opposed to written content.
The three pages were to be deconstructed manually. In some cases computers were allowed, but only to use basic techniques to manipulate the image – such as cut, rotate, resize and painting – mimicking the handmade processes.
