徽宋是在“宋体”基础上汲取“徽州”文化元素设计而出的一款创意字体。“徽州”在明清之际富甲一方，虽然养在深山之中，却形成独树一帜的“徽州文化”，其中徽派建筑最具代表。作者出生于徽州成长于徽州，对于家乡文化的热爱是这款字体诞生的起源。

徽文化的视觉符号中，马头墙和翘角最具代表的元素，因此在字体设计中“直角”和“扬翘”的形融入到此款字体的部分笔画中，使之成为字体的独有风格。徽宋体从传统文化中来，运用现代设计语言的表现，整个字体“刚柔并济”，令人印象深刻。

Huisong is a creative typeface designed based on the "Song Ti" typeface with the inspiration of the “Huizhou” cultural elements. "Huizhou" was rich in Ming and Qing dynasties. It formed a unique "Huizhou culture" even though it was in deep in the mountains, and Huizhou architecture was the most representative. The designer was borned and grew up in Huizhou, his love towards his hometown culture is the origin of this font.

Ma Tau wall and the cornices are the most representative elements among the visual symbols of the Hui culture. Therefore, the designer integrate the shape of "right angle" and "warp" from these elements into some strokes of this font, making it unique with its own style.

The Hui Song typeface was born from the traditional culture, using the expression of modern design language to couple strength and gentleness, which makes it impressive.
