Words have history. The project started from an interesting fact that the present words used to mean something different, and that some of the words have completely opposite meanings.
Furthermore, not only the semantic changes from past to present, but also the change in the meaning of words that can be seen before and after the internet (specifically SNS) are included in a form of a dictionary.
By adding different ideas to a precisely framed format of a dictionary, the editor was able to create an ‘amusing, refreshing dictionary.’
In addition, the readers can reconsider the meaning of words they use in everyday life and be reminded that the change of definitions implies the social change and the history.
