larvae: work in progress

The array of found larvae have inspired me to start this work, as I have noticed significant similarities with the disposition of living units within some primitive dwellings. This made me think about the rules they were following while arranging themselves and how can these rules be applied to architecture.
The basic idea was to create a digital model of the existing state and continue the growth of larvae by introducing a set of instructions in software environment, leading to the eventual making of physical model, so the spatial and sculptural aspects of the structure could be examined. In order to do so, the larvae unit is replaced by the toilet paper cardboard tube, as a material that is the most appropriate to the proportions of the larvae and most available at the same time.
This is just an insight into the work in progress, I hope to bring some more details soon.
