Ice Boxes is a series of ephemeral installations made of ice blocks whit inside autobiographical objects. The objects are chosen for their strong symbolism.
The shape of the objects can be seen in the ice cube. Slowly the ice melts.
The short duration of the installation is documented by a series of photographs and video.
There is a strong link between the video, which records the passage of time, and the photo that freezes a moment of that time, both blocking the attention on an object loaded with tension and anxiety.
