I took over this TV production halfway through. It was about a week way from shooting, so most of the ground work had been laid out. That's not to say I wasn't thrown a curveball or two. A few days before shooting I got the call that the director's father had a major accident, and that the director needed to fly out for his father's surgery, which would be the day of the shoot.
I told the Production company we would do whatever we could to accomodate. It was an amazingly stressful few hours trying to get the client on board with moving the shoot day earlier, and moving a dozen's peoples calendar's around, but we made it work. The locations were still available, and it all worked out. The spots ended up looking great as well!
