This Chess Piece Set has been made out of Plaster of Paris, as part of a Form study exercise.

The basic shape of each piece have been kept constant, which is a geometric truncated pyramid. And the design of every component has been kept minimalistic, while maintaining their individual essence.
Each piece casts its own unique shadow defined by its contours, and the hollowness in the center adds to the visual lightness of each piece.
Wet POP was poured into paper moulds and once dried, it was carved to give the desired form.
THANK YOU!
