All the sourcing done for this project was sustainable, as everything was reused, making it a very feasible option as window display for the brand and making them environment friendly.
FINAL WINDOW DISPLAY
Inspired by the craftsmen’s toil and skills and we wanted to convey how much hard work goes into the making of jewellery. The turban is a symbol of respect in the culture of Rajasthan, and in the display, the large turban symbolises the respect and importance for the craftsman. The exaggerated moustache shows the pride of the craftsman in doing the craft. The turban shows an array of tools turning into jewellery, which symbolizes the work that goes behind every beautiful piece of jewellery created.
DETAILS
The colours, patterns and textures were inspired from the forts and historical buildings in Jaipur. The turban has different shades of white, which symbolise the goodness, brilliance and perfection of the craftsmen.
Our motive is to promote the craftsmen and the craftsmanship through our display, and instead of celebrities, making the craftsman the real face of the brand.
