Commissioned Illustration | Process & Final
Different body types and face styles were created for the client to choose from.
The client loves Calvin & Hobbes, so that was a reference to potentially blend into the illustration work.
(1) The porch was initially drawn by hand, composited from various images from different angles
(2) The scene originally had each person interacting with one another, but -
(3) the final version incorporates them so that they are facing the camera as if posing for a photo.
