I was honored to have been selected to test the pre-release of Adobe Illustrator for iPad.
I liked the possibility of creating vector artwork "on the go".
The app is already well supplied but some tasks are only possible on Illustrator on desktop (such as using patterns).

I love that documents created on the iPad are available without manipulation on the desktop (without having to export to a cloud service from the iPad and then import to the desktop).
The ability to preview the results of a pathfinder operation is really a big plus that should be implemented on the desktop version.
Repeating in a circle or in a grid is really great for creating patterns. Too bad you can't use them as such on the iPad but I think it will. It is still possible to work with clipping masks to use the pattern created with the repetitions to restrict it to a shape.
Using Illustrator with Apple pencil is a real plus. It is much more natural than with the mouse.
