Madhubani art, also known as Mithila painting is a style of Indian folk art painting. It was originally practiced in Bihar in the Indian subcontinent.
This series of vivid and detailed illustrations was inspired by the traditional Madhubani art.

Historically, Madhubani art was painted using a variety of tools like fingers, twigs and nip pens. The dyes and pigments used are natural and are prepared using complex traditional processes.
