TASK
Our new project in Miami is located in Boca Raton. They treat architecture and design with special awe. The resort became popular in 1925 when architect Addison Meisner built a luxury hotel, golf courses, parks and elegant buildings. Now streets are named in honor of the architect, and a monument to him was created in the center of the city.
Getting an order from Boca Raton is a special honor for every interior design studio. We were provided minimalistic interior in the house. And we set the task – to create an interior that is ahead of its time.
SOLUTION
We have created a minimalist futuristic bedroom design. This interior could very well be on a spaceship that rushes with tourists to another planet.
The dominant white color in the palette, the ocean view from the window and the diffused light of the lamps, reminiscent of the setting sun, allows the owners to feel the atmosphere of the Boca Raton resort from the comfort of their house. The interior of the bedroom has become a continuation of the city and the architecture of the building.
We try to keep the materials honest and the space authentic in every project. The wall in the bedroom can be made of the same concrete as the facade of the house. Yes, there are no barriers for us.
There are no universal rules for creating an interior. Concrete is rare in bedrooms, isn't it? We have integrated it into the context of this project. The unity of materials for the facade of the house and the interior creates an overall holistic concept. This is exactly what we strive for in each of our projects.
