40 HAIKU POSTERS

Concept –
Spain was one of the most affected countries in the world with the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the worst possible moment, I decided to start a personal challenge: ’40 Haiku posters’. What I tried with this initiative was to switch the negative thoughts into positive ones. It was a period of uncertainty, so I needed to change my energy and boosting my creativity with something totally new. At the same time, I tried to inspire people around the world with something beautiful and timeless: Haiku poetry.

What's a haiku? –
Haiku is a form of short poetry originally from Japan. A traditional haiku is a three-line poem with only 17 syllables, written in a 5/7/5 syllable count. Essentially, a haiku poet takes something well known in nature and captures a brief moment in time. It is an art of expressing much and suggesting more in the fewest possible words.
