An 80's building, designed by acclaimed mexican architect
Ricardo Legorreta, was to be renovated after the fusion of
Banamex with Citibank. Especially the redesign in this floor was
Very important, because all the top rank employees were
Relocated here.
Our first design approaches adopted Legorreta’s style in a gesture of
Respect and an effort to associate the new design with the
Existing one. But after several proposals the Regional Director asked us for a more
Original design that projected a new face for the bank and its
Clients. The proposal consisted in the relocation of 80% of the people working on this
Floor leaving it only for directors and managers. The result was a
Big and flexible lobby, full of light and space, around which the private offices
And meeting rooms function.
A new elliptical meeting room made of wood walls and curved tempered glass, along with more modern lighting fixtures and Curvy lines in the design of floors and ceilings made up to a more
Modern and dynamic space.
