The concept: a flat pack table with parts list and instructions
Through quick hand renderings, I explored materials, shaped and uses. In order to produce the best quality by the deadline given, the side table is the option I chose to explore. From hand sketching I moved on to computerized modeling to research the connections of the two materials.
Completing a basic support system, I then moved to the wood shop to test different slot and groove systems. After finding a strong and aesthetically pleasing supports, I bent and welded the flat stock, creating asymmetrical legs.
