The Story of the Valley of the Wind

This work is a tribute to Hayao Miyazaki's animation ‘Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind’

The original intention of making this work is because this year's 2019-nCoV, I want to make a short film to tell everyone to be in awe of nature, so I thought of the animation of Nausicaa of the Wind of the Valley.

The beautiful setting of the scene made me want to Try to use CG to restore, from the Ohms to the Giant Warrior, from giant trees to various weird plants and scenes, it is hard not to sigh Miyazaki's imagination,and the unique shape really makes it difficult to go.

It took more than 3 months to complete these models from conception to completion, and they have undergone many revisions. Because it is a personal solo work, I really underestimated the workload.Fortunately, I still tried my best to restore it.Finally,I want to thank zaoeyo and momentor for learning a lot from them.

风之谷的故事是一部致敬宫崎骏老师的动画的作品。

做这个作品的初衷是因为今年的疫情，想做条短片的方式去告诉大家要敬畏自然，我便想到了风之谷这部动画，美轮美奂的场景设定让我也很想去试着用CG还原，从王虫到巨神兵，从巨树到各种奇形怪状的植物和场景，让人很难不感叹宫崎骏老师的想象力，独有的造型也确实为难了自己需要去建模完成这些模型，从构思到完成耗时3个多月，也经历了很多次修改，因为是个人solo作品，确实有点小看这些工作量了，不过好在还是尽力还原了。最后要感谢曾老师和momentor各位，默默划水也能学到很多。
