During our urbex trips, we visit factories, power plants, old hotels and apartments, pre-war tenement houses and other forgotten palaces. Today, we would like to show you the most spectacular abandoned object. When we found out that this abandoned palace is located in Budapest, we immediately started to look for a way how to get there. To make it happen, we woke up at 4 in the morning to catch a plane at 6 (please appreciate it ...) and at 10 we were already there, inside the Adria Palace in the Hungarian capital city. The most beautiful, richest, and untouched, abandoned palace we have been to so far. There, we were able to photograph a marble ballroom, a gilded fireplace, solid wood cabinets, two working pianos, a glass balcony, and a marble staircase with frescoes on the top. Everything in the nautical theme of shells, anchors, sirens and tritons. The icing on the cake was rock-n-roll music played from the nearby Mangalitza festival. During the 3 days of our stay in Budapest we were at the Adria Palace, 4 times. We traveled over 550 km to see this magical palace that remembers the times of Austro-Hungary when Hungarians had access to the Adriatic Sea.
