YCN Competition Brief - UK Greetings
The UKGreetings Brief called for designing a set of stationery items with the main focus put on greeting cards. The presented collection put emphasis on cards that could be gifted on multiple occasions. The playful lettering has encapsulated the brand’s tone of voice. Focusing on pastel colours and patterns throughout the collection has made it effective and cohesive.
The Process
Prototypes of the postcards. Started going towards more open and universal occasions for the postcards, because I think there’s too much very specific ones. It could be also a good branding element to spread positivity and share the idea of gifting your loved ones more frequently.
Decided to go with very open phrases - Thank You and Good Luck because they can apply to wide range of situations.
Figuring out various textures to use for the rest of the range items. Decided to go with abstract textures and wide chequered pattern.
