The second project was to take the department information for SCAD Atlanta Graphic Design and create a give away that prospective or new students can take and use throughout their time at SCAD. Information to be included consisted of Professors, a letter from the Chair, Course Curriculums for each degree offered, full course descriptions, then any other information we deemed fit.

I chose to create a journal/sketchbook that incorporates all required information. This way students can draw or take notes during orientation, during their 1st-year program that introduces them to the SCAD experience, or for any other reason.

The graphic seen throughout the book was derived from the fact that the professors are the most integral part of the department. And, the notion that we are not only getting a SCAD education, but each one brings with them the knowledge and training gained from their own alma matters. Using a Google Map, I located each school based the respected professor, and created a vector image from a reduction process of the wired piece.
