The concept of a unique style for the Russian pavilion at EXPO 2025 in Japan.
We decided to support the agenda of the exhibition on sustainable development and to highlight a global environmental problem such as the melting of glaciers in our work. So we have created a dynamic logo system, each sate of which symbolises a molecular structure of different aggregate states of water - from flat (as ice) two random (as water.)
The theme of the architectural solutions of the pavilion is the transparency of relations. Water and ice keep this idea, thanks to which the logo is symbolically and seamlessly integrated into the overall concept. The emblem also reminds of the Chinese character form «水» which is translated as water.
