Saddleback Church Ministry Logo System

The goal of the standard ministry logo is to communicate a clear ministry name that is a part of Saddleback Church. This way there’s a support and connection to the church it belongs to and it’s not perceived as something independent, as Pastor Rick likes to say “Glory should go to the bride of Christ, his church.”

Depending on the audience it can be written different ways under our “S Mark.” We are one CHURCH even though we have many ministries.

Always Left and Bottom aligned in Lato font in Title Case. This makes it different from the main and campus logos which are usually centered in Akzidenz-Grotesk Condensed Std font ALL CAPPED.

The reason behind this layout is to focus on the ministry name so it can serve the audience while still connecting it to the church. This solution is scalable to long and short ministry names because a font was developed for it to keep the ratios looking great together. We designed it with templates in mind to serve the fact that “Every member is a minister” so we want to empower anyone to create their own ministry connected to their home church.

You can find templates that use this logo for brochures, flyers, cards, name badges, screen graphics, and more to quickly deploy your ministry! When the logo is laid out on a solid background, you can quickly customize with a hero photo that can be changed out and personalized as the ministry grows. Besides the many templates, our design team also has an Indesign script when working in-house, where we can export multiple variations of the logo in a few clicks  as well as common deliverables.
