Design for the commemorative stamps of  The 15th-term Presidential and Vice Presidential Inauguration, Taiwan, R.O.C

Tsai Ing-wen and Lai Ching-te has begun serving the 15th terms of ROC president and vice president, respectively, on May 20, 2020. In celebration, Chunghwa Post has issued a set of stamps on their inauguration: “The Inauguration of the 15th-term President and Vice President Commemorative Issue.” The pictures of four stamps draw on the basic components of points, lines, planes and gradients to convey the four concepts of blossoming, democracy, coming into place, and direction. The stamps take contemporary aesthetic approaches to convey the ideas of pluralistic values being realised, dialogue, preparedness and affection for home.

In the souvenir sheet a close-in shot of the president and vice president on a regular day, living their lives in Taiwan like the people they represent, conveys their intentions as president and vice president to determinedly and fearlessly work to realise their values of pluralism and equality in a transparent manner.
