Beauty is in the Eye of the Bee-Holder

Bee Good to your skin with Nectar, a skincare and beauty line developed using Hilton Midtown’s very own, in house produced honey and beeswax. An anti-inflammatory, full of anti-oxidants that boosts collagen production, honey is a powerhouse when it comes to beauty regimens. Gentle enough for use on blemished skin, honey possesses antibacterial properties, helping to heal those breakouts and dark spots faster. In addition to acting as a natural healing agent, helping to balance bacteria on the skin, honey is a natural exfoliant, removing dead skin cells and revealing radiant skin.

The V. I. Bees are also busy producing another Bee-auty secret, beeswax. For any products requiring a creamy consistency, beeswax acts as an emulsifier, keeping the product from separating into its oil and liquid components. Its use as an emulsifier makes beeswax perfect for skin care products such as moisturizers, lotions, and body creams. Creating a long lasting barrier, beeswax protects the skin from harsh environments and locks in valuable moisture while being light enough to let the skin breathe.

Nectar’s design reflects the natural world in which its product’s life begins. Featuring a logo comprised of honey comb hexagons shaping an abstracted flower, Nectar’s identity refers back to the building blocks of nature. Creating sustainable and eco-friendly skin care is top priority as it is better not only for the environment but for the consumer as well. The packaging further reflects this back to nature attitude through the usage of bees’ preferred flowers, poppies, lavender, mint, etc. Nectar’s elegant design is meant to catch the eye of the consumer because after all, beauty is in the eye of the bee-holder.
