A boutique hotel situated in a conservation shophouse in Singapore, along Joo Chiat area. By showing the time has passed from the past till the present, I have chosen 'Movement' to be the design concept. To allow the users to experience the past while still living in the present, bicycle - moving through the time. A slow pace transporation which is also commonly used transport in the past. One of a way to represent the past is through photographs. While memories remained when the time does not stop for anyone. Therefore, the hotel is rich in monochrome colours with sepia effects (dull yellow to brown).
