The interior was designed for a young family with a four-year-old daughter. The wife is a furniture designer who loves bright and bold solutions, and the husband is a young entrepreneur who fully supports the ideas of his talented wife. The child in the family is a happy girl who has grown up with a love of nature and animals. The interior takes into account many trends and advantages of modern design, such as terrazzo, coral colour, variety of design solutions, modern furniture and much more.
The colour scheme of the rooms is determined by the family's choice of coral as the main colour. This colour is combined with other bright colours in the interior to maintain a positive mood even on the gloomiest grey St. Petersburg days. To balance the colour diversity, we have provided light oak parquet, white shades in various interior details, and discreet black metal elements in furniture details.
When considering the internal layout and design, we aimed to use every square metre of available space efficiently. Built-in storage systems solve the issue of unnecessary space clutter and save space. The children's room combines storage systems with a work area. We have successfully integrated functional areas, including the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The living room is the main core of the flat, which is combined with the dining area. The two spaces are separated by a Memphis-style partition designed specifically for this project.  Each room's design is based on the Memphis theme, which helped create a unified composition of the interior space.
