Background
People are equal in the face of death even if they do different creative works. so I feel empty while working and even when I'm done.
I worked on these emotions, and the motif is a vanitas about the emptiness of death in the 17th century.
The composition of the film is based on the Ecclesiastes, Chapter 1, Section 2, which is the origin of the vanitas
Each cut refers to artwork and design work on a tablet, study as the foundation for work, and photography and film work using slates and film.
인간들은 각자 다른 창조적인 일을 하더라도 결국 죽음 앞에서는 평등하다. 그러므로 나는 내 아트워크를 진행 중이거나 끝마칠 때 허무함을 느끼곤 한다.
나는 이러한 감정을 주제로 작업을 진행했고, 모티브는 17세기 죽음의 허무함을 주제로 한 바니타스화이다.
영상의 구성은 바니타스화의 기원이 되는 전도서 1장 2절을 바탕으로 전개된다. 각 컷은 테블릿으로 작업하는 아트워크나 디자인작업, 작업의 바탕이 되는 공부, 슬레이트와 필름등을 활용한 사진 및 영화작업을 의미한다.
