At The Bristol Improv Theatre, where I work, I was given 48 hours and a budget of £50 to build a set for a 26 hour long, improvised play set in Ancient Rome! With limited time and budget my team and I managed to create this set through recycled materials. I painted scrap wood and foam to create the impression of marble, used cardboard for Roman pillars and an old mannequin as our statue of Venus!
