The dress is designed to be reversible. Likewise the Embroidery motifs are chosen as such that they can be done on both sides simultaneously saving time and raw material, ideal for a reversible dress. One of the embroidery techniques is traditional  which had been practiced by the artisans of Porgai from the Sitilingi Valley. The rear side of the motif is finished to give an appealing look both ways.
