朱家角 is a place branding project done on an existing place which carries the same name. A campaign is created to invite and attract people to know more about the place.
Theme(s):
Modernity meets Chinese Traditions. Ming Architecture on water
Graphics:
Bright colors were used to overlap the photos of the buildings from the place. The buildings focuses on the roofs and are all in black and white. Despite having such a traditional architecture, the place is blooming with pubs, cafes and other activities, hence, the burst of colors.
Collaterals:
Poster: To briefly depict the campaign
Brochure: A 3D folding brochure for the audience to take away and display, instead of reading and throwing it away.
Interactive Print Panels: 3 series of overlapping illustrations were made and combined together. These three illustrations portrays the different themes in the place and can only be filtered out individually via the RGD light technique with the use of 3 different colored shades.
Postcard & Envelop: To distributed, and the flap of the envelop portrays the Ming style roofs that would be sticking out of letter boxes, hence, resembling the structure of the place.
