The last book that brought you to tears beacause you laughed so hard. The last book that fascinated every fibre of your body. The last book that inspired you at work. Imagine a place where you can share such a euphoria with friends boundlessly. This is Buchhaus Moritzplatz.
 
With its focus on Design and Do It Yourself literature the Buchhaus Moritzplatz not only has a unique product range with charater. It also creates a generous space for discussion and exchange. Once a month this exchange peaks with the Buchhaustalk which brings people together to share their passion to others.
The Logo was created by combining these three key elements. The form is very geometrical, since the Building of the Bookstore is also geometrically formed.
 
"Some things are only fun together“
 
We were confronted with the challenge to increase the visibility of the bookstore by also obtaining the opennes to the outside. I desided to create a large bookshelf which could be used as display. It may also function as a book exchange for design literature. Visitors could bring design books they like and take another one instead.
