My current master’s thesis looks into the legal person-hood of the Whanganui river and how it can be used to foster greater understanding, environments and highlight values of the people and their land along the rivers landscape. It explores the symbiotic relationship between culture, nature and the people and how that can be used as a framework to develop more engaging and informative designs on the river’s edge, within the reaches of the city.
