Design Gov is a national movement within the UAE Government that connects the people who serve, to the people they serve, selecting and training the first Chief Design Officers for a nation. By embedding creative mindsets and skillsets into the way government think and work, Design Gov enables us to understand, imagine, and co-create meaningful solutions together with the people of the UAE.  

 We worked with the UAE government to build the programme from the ground up - designing the curriculum, building the brand from scratch and successfully launching the programme nationally. We then embarked and lead a 4 week training course for government leaders enabling them to identify challenges, run research sessions and uncover insights, and develop revolutionary ideas for their nation.

Design Gov is about creating a national movement, and this movement needed a symbol; The wa’mpersand. It's our mark that combines the ampersand and the Arabic word for and - و (wa). More than a symbol – it represents the connecting power of design, and the commitment to creative collaboration. It's a mark designed to be sketched, built and created by the people of the UAE as a unifying symbol of the movement.
