About
Awarri is a pan-African advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics company owned by Silas Adekunle, a world renowned robotics engineer known for creating the world's first intelligent gaming robot. Awarri provides tools to build an ecosystem that prepares young people for the future of work by training them to create tech solutions for some of Africa’s biggest challenges.​

Awarri (meaning ‘seek and find’ in Yoruba, one of Africa's popular languages), is Africa’s first advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics company. Awarri is set to enable the development of advanced AI & robotics technology on the continent by developing an ecosystem that comprises of highly skilled talents ready for the future of work and build lasting tech solutions for some of Africa’s problem.

Task
Create a dynamic identity that allows Awarri to compete globally but still stay connected to its African roots.

Solution
With the expertise of the founder in the robotics field, a need to bring advancement, solutions and education to the youths in Africa, the desire to make Awarri a globally competent brand, we discovered there were a multitude of brilliant ways to communicate Awarri’s values, one of them being the name itself. 

To achieve this, we focused on what made Awarri unique, it's name, which when translated in English means to “seek and find”. We expressed the brand’s value proposition through a visual identity system that tells the story of simplicity, innovation and inspiration. With greater visual presence and character, the logo communicates Awarri’s desire to build an ecosystem, using strategic set pieces across Africa. It’s diverse audience gave inspiration to a vibrant colour palette with the flexibility to speak to Awarri’s audience. 

With the patterns, we brought the brand home to Africa, carefully selecting african symbols that best exemplified our goals, personality, vision and mission.
