we are two fresh minds providing design, furniture and décor in a relaxed setting. simple, classic, non-cluttered, and functional interior design is our specialty. we are educated, constantly learning, and traveling. we have the ability to express the client’s soul rather than impress a style upon them. we work great with budgets and getting the most bang for your buck.

backgrounds:

carrie england stevenhagen:  from childhood through adolescence i helped my mother with décor decisions.  when majoring in pre-med at another college, i had the opportunity to design my own apartment.  i had such a great time in doing so, and people responded very well to the space.  this sparked an interest in making interior design my career. i enrolled in o’more college of design and received my bachelor of interior design in 2004.  along the way i have developed an extensive background in kitchen and bath design, restaurant design and commercial design.

kristina eckert: my first degree was in environmental science. my intention was to become a green designer. i started college before they were teaching green design in schools so i had to get 2 degrees, my second degree from o’more college of design. i merged two careers into one. my passion definitely keeps me on my toes because green design may be one of the fastest growing fields. i try to absorb and learn as much new information as i can as often as possible. the field is constantly evolving. i have high hopes for the future of design, and intend to be on the forefront of the evolution.
