Not Afraid! was hand-picked by Famous Footwear to compete with a handful of other select creators in a private assignment through Poptent.  We were tasked with taking their already established "Victory is Yours" campaign and bringing in a more emotional component.

 

After brainstorming several ideas we settled on the concept of "Tiny Victories."  When raising a family there are always many tiny victories (and setbacks) everyday that you experience.   We wanted to elevate those small moments to larger victories and create an emotional connection at the same time.

 

It was also important to me, to have scope of demographic, family, and location to make it feel universal. The spot was one of 5 finalists out of the 17 submissions in the crowd-sourced campaign, but ultimately was not chosen. Nevertheless, I am very proud of the results.
