Pillows: where dreams live
In modern times, with a busy body and mental rhythm, rest is essential . It is the point of arrival after the daily routine and it is the starting point for the next day; hence the need for it, in addition to being pleasant, to be restorative. Information about pre-sleep relaxation routines and setting options for a harmonious room is widely distributed. Also, many people are already familiar with the benefits of choosing a suitable mattress . Now, is the importance of the pillow for a good rest equally well known ?

The pillow: as important as the mattress
Once the body finds the right level of comfort on the mattress, it is time - later but just as important - to think about the pillow. The importance of the pillow lies in three main reasons , which are enough to give it a lot of attention:

1)It is the support element for the body at the upper end. As such, it has an impact on preventive and palliative care of postural health.

2)If properly chosen, the pillow contributes to uninterrupted sleep. This, because it eliminates the awakenings caused by physical discomfort.

3)It complements the good position that is achieved by choosing a good mattress.

What to consider when choosing a pillow?
Understanding then that the pillow is not an accessory in the room but rather a main element and that there are as many types of pillows as personal preferences, many brands have developed different models. Here is a brief list of the characteristics to consider when choosing your kallysleep pillow:

1)Material : refers to both the filling material (which will give it a particular density and thickness) and the lining material. The filling can be synthetic fiber, polyester, microfiber, feather, foam, fleece or memory foam. The lining usually coincides with the filling, except in specific cases where they have a cotton lining. In any case, they are materials designed to prolong the durability of the pillow and for its correct cleaning.

2)Size : logically the two important measurements are length and width. There is often confusion with this and, to clear up doubts, the key fact is that the length is measured from top to bottom and the width from left to right.

3)Relationship with the mattress : for single mattresses, pillows between 80 and 90 cm wide are recommended. For two-seater mattresses, pillows between 70 and 80 cm wide, depending on whether they are traditional two-seaters, queen, king or super king.

Once these questions are defined, it will be necessary to choose the pillow that best suits the comfort of each person, for which the particular taste is decisive. And, for moments of rest that do not involve sleeping but being in a more upright position, it will be ideal to add some comfortable cushions.
