Design Thinking (Use Case)
Introduction
The above project is a sample use case created as a task for practicing "Design Thinking", and the aim is to follow the process and make it habitual for the upcoming design tasks.
Design Thinking Process
Problem: Hand Santizers are not easily accessible for public in streets.

1. Empathise
As the world is facing a medical crisis amid CoViD-19 pandemic.
The role of adequate hygiene in form of hand sanitisers is inevitable in controlling the spread of infection in public places, so availability of hand sanitisers with more than 70% alcohol is very crucial which can kill 99.9% of the viruses.

2. Define
Installation of zero touch hand sanitising dispensers at public places which can raise alarm when emptied can reduce the spread of the virus and also reduce the maintenance cost for the governing bodies.

3. Define
Outcome of this step: Decision of creating a 3d model of a Hand Sanitising Dispenser which could be installed in the public places by the government.
4. Prototype
We have created both Low-Fi and High-Fi prototype.
Conclusion
The solution for the problem statement would be to model a Hand Sanitising Dispenser which could be installed in the public places by the government.

The parameters of the dispenser would be:
1. Easy to Install - Create multiple installation models based on the surface.
2. Easy to Notice - Create a material with fluorescent colour.
3. Easy to Refill - Have a simple provision in the model for the field team to refill.
4. Genuine - Since it would be funded by government, maintaining the quality is crucial.
5. Maintenance - Device to trigger a notification in case the sanitiser to be refilled, further as an escalation point, it would raise an alarm through its LED light after a stipulated time frame.
6. Zero Touch - The device to be enabled by a sensor that would recognise the hand looking for the sanitiser.
7. Economical - As this would be a financial expense for the government, this model to be manufactured using a minimal cost having the quantity in mind, this is to be manufactured only in india as it would give the small scale industries an opportunity during the pandemic.

By completing the task using the Design Thinking process, it will help me follow the guidelines for the projects i create going ahead.
