A Final Cut Express Project from my Multimedia Class-Fall 2010 CCSF
This 60 second video was lots of fun. It started out trying to find something with the African theme. First I found the elephant (a short by Nicolas Deveaux on YouTube). Then I found the zebras running on Getty Images and download a comp. Finally I downloaded the video clip of R. Kelly performing "Happy People." (c) 2004 Zomba Recording LLC. The music came from "Happy Survival" by Eddie Okwedy on the Nigeria 70-Lagos Jump label, and the sounds of an elephant from Audio-Micro. I used the additive dissolve video transition, as well as a channel offset filter on the zebras. There were fade ins and outs and lots of croping and wireframing. The text was Hobo Std which scrolled up the page in the begining.
